Barbara Hardy is a graduate of McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  She has been employed with Health Systems 2000 for over 15 years and is currently the Director of Quality Management.  Barbara has been a nurse for over 30 years and has served in various capacities.  Her experience includes medical-surgical, ortho/neuro, geriatric, rehab, SNF, administration, home health and quality management.  Throughout her career she has extended her skills to the community by providing health awareness to help promote wellness and prevent illness.  Serving as Health Awareness Coordinator for her church and Baptist State convention has allowed her the opportunity to reach further and touch more lives.  Other opportunities have been through her service on various boards, such as American Heart Association, Calcasieu Community Clinic, SWLA Center for Health Services.  Her spiritual beliefs are to put God first in all of her endeavors, then watch the increase in others and her work.  Her primary focus has been to provide healthcare services in a compassionate and caring way. 

Caring, loving and sharing is what she does.
